We were brought on to augment Nintendo’s social media team across a variety of IPs - including the revolutionary new LABO system and several beloved first-party IPs. A unique opportunity with a publisher that typically handles marketing internally, we executed an exciting array of bespoke content and targeted campaigns across several of Nintendo’s social channels.

 

A series of social posts reviving the classic Nintendo Power brand in the form of throwback magazine covers (along with a limited print runs) to celebrate the release of the SNES Classic.

 

A social media war room and generating custom social share-ables from user-submitted pet photos (in real time) to help Nintendo and Gamestop celebrate the relase of Star Fox Zero.

A custom motion content series that blurred the line between the real world and the mushroom kingdom, celebrating the creativity and portability of Mario Maker on 3DS.

 

A user-generated music contest in collaboration with GameStop to help Nintendo generate fan buzz around the release of Zelda Twilight Princess HD on the Wii U.
