Dark Souls III /// Bandai Namco
For the Dark Souls 3 launch, we were enlisted to create retail collateral to promote the title among the franchises’ most hardcore fanbase - the managers at GameStop. We executed tongue-in-cheek original content, including a “So You’re Thinking of Playing Dark Souls” guide and official bonfire papercraft. And an even more tongue-in-cheek mobile game “Slashy Souls” to promote pre-order. Given their success, we were asked to create A/V content to compliment launch and catapult Dark Souls 3’ launch awareness into the mainstream – taking the form of a livestream featuring Kumail Nanjiani and T.J. Miller dying… a lot.
