FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE // SQUARE ENIX

We were tasked with creating trailer content for the highly anticipated remake – specifically tailored to appeal to newcomers and western audiences. I led internal on-boarding, turning the creative team into Final Fantasy experts, and creative strategy development, looking to story, characters and themes to inspire a series of trailers that framed the JRPG as a cinematic action-blockbuster and Cloud as an action-movie hero, all while serving up proper on-boarding for newcomers.
